Picture

SOUNDSHORE BLACK / BYRAM BLACK

One of New England's darkest granites, this stone is reminiscent of the native black gneiss bedrock found along the Westchester and Fairfield county shorelines of the Long Island Sound. Available in thin stone and full bed stone.
Picture

MANHATTAN SCHIST

A true gem of New England, this locally-quarried stone mimics the native bedrock that founds the island of Manhattan, NYC. A combination of granite and schist that has dark and lighter greys, some brown overtones, and a conspicuous mica shine.  Available in thin stone and full bed stone.
Picture

HAMPSHIRE GRANITE

A beautiful silver/grey with plentiful gold and brown tones, and a shiny mica mist, this New Hampshire granite is one of New England's treasures. Available in thin stone and full bed stone.
Picture

NEW CAPE ANN GRANITE

Picture

MIDLAND ROSE / WESTERLY GRANITE

Picture

Quarried in Northwestern New York, the tiger-striping of this granite represents the recognizable design of the historic and renowned, original Westchester and Fordham granites. Available in thin stone and full bed stone.
Picture

YONKERS WESTCHESTER GRANITE - Original

While abundantly seen on some of the New York region's most prominent and historic structures, Yonkers Granite is now extinct, as the quarries in the NYC suburbs have all since closed. This stone is a plentiful yet limited supply of leftover quarried blocks of true Westchester Granite. The unmistakable tiger stripes of grey, pink, amber, and dark blue breathe life into any design intent. Perfect for matching existing structures with Yonkers stone, and equally as pleasing on new construction that demands only the finest materials.
Picture

YONKERS GRANITE -  GEN-2

Available only as a thin veneer in roughly square and rectangle and ashlar, this granite is imported from the granite capital of South America - Brazil. The tiger stripe and pink/grey tones are a close match to the original and extinct native Westchester and Yonkers granites.

OLD STONE BARNS BLEND

To create a farmhouse, rubble-like appearance similar to many of the late 1800s structures in and around New York, the Old Stone Barns blend includes difficult-to-source dark black schist rock, with shiny mica, combined with silver, gold, brown and grey tones.
Picture

Picture

LARCHMONT HARBOR

Available only as a thin veneer, this uniquely-crafted stone is hand-split to create an installer's choice of choosing *both* sides of each piece to display as the face. The hand-hammered edges are consistently and nicely squared (more-so than any other thin veneer on the market), with a hand-dressed subtly-pillowed face, right of the pallet, saving installers time and money - while creating a breathtaking aesthetic.  Dark grey and silver tones combine, with a shiny mica overtone. Unique and one-of-a-kind.
Picture

KENSICO BUFF GRANITE

A mist of buff and grey tones, unique and not found anywhere else! Thin veneer only.

SCARSDALE BLEND

Available only in thin veneer, this blend combines various quarried stones to create a look reminiscent of old-world Scarsdale, New York.

Thin Veneers - Packaged & Installed

Photos below shot our natural thin veneer products, before, during, and after installation by our customers and/or their masonry subcontractors.
ALL SQUARE + RECTANGLE STONES ARE SUPPLIED AS THE INDUSTRY STANDARD, "ROUGHLY SQUARED" - MEANING THEY ARE NOT PERFECTLY SQUARE.
Many of the photos herein show the stone after it has been trimmed, cut, and neatly squared-off during installation by a masonry contractor.
Please speak with your contractor about labor costs involved to install in perfectly-edged squares and rectangles.
A waste factor should be added to every order if the design intent involves any cutting of the stones during installation.
We can saw-cut all pieces to specified heights, by request, as a custom order - to reduce installation and labor time/costs, and reduce waste, and virtually eliminate the noise and dust involved with on-site cutting. Please contact us for pricing on sawn-edge veneer.
